Tombstone Junction

Was one of the most loved Old Western Theme Parks in the USA.
As a young lad,  I couldn't wait for summer break to get here so I could watch the gunfighters battle it out in the Old Western Town. After I had turned fourteen (14) back in 1981, I got my first real job working at the Choo Choo Shop, a little snack shack serving soadas, funnel cakes, popcorn etc.... But it wasn't until I had turned eighteen (18) before I got to work as one of the wild west gunfighters. This was the most exciting job to have as a young teenager. Most teens could only dream about being a wild west gunfighter. All the years I had visited Tombstone Junction, I have seen some of the best country singers in the world like, Tammy Wynnett, Dolly Partin, Box Car Willie, George Jones, Loretta Lynn, Meril Haggard, Conway Twitty, Jerry Reed, Tom T Hall, Barbra Mandrell, etc. are just a few I met in person.
But things changed back in the early parts of the 1990's when the old western town began to burn on several occassions until it went to the ground. This was one of the saddest days of my life to see a wonderful place to come to an end. I hoped that it would be rebuilt in the future but it never did.  Some tried to build simular place called, " Six Gun City " But it never took off on a good start. It really takes some big bucks to get a good theme park up and running to succceed.  If any one has any Photos, Stories or even old Post Cards you would like to share, Please e-mail or write me and I will be glad to post your stuff on this site with a thank you note posted.
Hope you enjoy what little I have to offer for now.

Sincerly!
Herbert T. Warman Jr.
